About Cornelius Aesop: Monkey is as monkey does, I think someone famous said that once. I’m a traveling monkey on a mission to figure out what makes you humans tick. I like to fling poo, drink, and travel. I’m originally from Ohio, earned a B.S. and M.A. in Teaching specializing in Social Studies and TESOL, but I haven’t had the experience that I could truly call myself a teacher. I hope to improve my photography and writing as we travel along South America.
About Aiko Aesop: I am a Latina, Peruvian, with a twist of Asianness… I think I just made up a word. LOL
Truth be told, I am a lucky lil monkey for I was reminded that there is sooooooo much more to life than surviving. After that, things seemed to fall back into place. I remembered who I was- a humanitarian, a student of life… a dork!
– and how to enjoy life at its fullest; to appreciate what we have, and more importantly, to appreciate those around us.
My hope for our travels is to learn about the variety of cultures, embrace our differences; meet the amazing people this world has; find a greater purpose; and although I am no writer, I hope to give you a different perspective.
Someone once said that “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. Well, let me just tell you, if I have lemons, you can be darn sure I’ll be making ceviche!! Teehee! If you don’t know what ceviche is, you are missing out my friend.
About The Site: It’s a blog, I can confirm that much. It is as much an informational travel site as it is a personal blog because truly those two have to mix. Otherwise, this would be a tour guide and nothing else. There are many different features that can be found by clicking on any one of the above topics, and most of the stories relate to one topic or another.
